The Chess in Education Commission of the International Chess Federation (FIDE EDU) recently announced their partnership with the ”Chess” Scientific Research Institute of Armenian State Pedagogical University to offer an online conference, “Chess in the Process of a Preschooler’s Development,” to be held on December 10, 2022. The chess in preschool conference plans to highlight the benefits of chess as well as teaching methodologies for this age group.
The announcement states, “The goal of the conference is to discuss different approaches of teaching chess to preschoolers mainly considering chess as an educational tool for a child’s development.”
The directions of the conference are:
- The methodology of teaching chess to a preschooler.
- Chess and kindergarten teachers’ training.
The working languages of the conference are English and Spanish.
Those interested in presenting at the conference should send theses to the link below by November 20, 2022. Authors will be informed about the decision of the Organizational commission by November 27th.
